URGENT NOTICE REGARDING THE GATE COMBINATION!

The gate combination was changed on October 1, 2026

If you have an email address on file, you should have received an email with the new combination on September 21, 2026.

This is due to our gate combination being given to a passenger who is not a member instead of the club member getting out of the vehicle to open the gate! A club officer witnessed the infraction and informed the member he violated the club rule under Membership Privileges on page seven, paragraph three, which states the following:

You are a member of a private club. The gate combination is your permission to use the range. You paid for it. Guard it carefully. It may not be given to friends, relatives, guests or business associates for any reason, including giving the combination to a passenger so you don’t have to get out and open the gate. Giving the combination to an unauthorized person is grounds for EXPULSION from the club.

As per Article X of the By-Laws, the member was sent required notice, in writing, of the charges and the time and place of the meeting of the Executive Committee at which such charges will be considered. The member did not show up at the meeting to tell his side of the story. Subsequently, the Executive Committee voted unanimously to expel the offending member.

The new combination will be emailed to those with email addresses in our system. Those members without email addresses will either receive a text message or a letter with the new code.

Please be vigilant checking your email frequently over the next week for the new gate combination, which you need to write on your blue membership card, and most importantly, reply to the email containing the new code confirming you have replaced the old code with the new code to help me ensure that all members get the new code!

NEXT CLUB MEETING

The next Club Meeting will be at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, November 3rd at the Westlake Recreation Center at 1221 Sampson Street.

• Applicants attending their first meeting should arrive by 6:30 in order to complete the application and receive a rulebook. Applicants voted in will owe pro-rated dues of $99 plus an initiation fee of $66, for a total of $165 which covers your membership until May 31, 2027.
